Hello!
My name is Megan Townend, and I am fully qualified with a BSc (Hons) degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy from Harper Adams University.
About me
Animals have always been an important part of my life, and I have always wanted to dedicate my time to working with them and improving their quality of life. I have professional experience working within many equine and canine industries, including; competition yards, rescue centres, kennels and veterinary hydrotherapy centres. This has helped me develop a good understanding of the different demands and needs of our animals.

When I am not working, my passion is looking after and spending time with my own pets. I was lucky enough to grow up with horses and my love for them has only grown with age. With my current horse, Pandora, I regularly compete in Showjumping and Eventing, which has increased my appreciation and respect for the amount of work they do for us. This has ignited my passion to help them feel as comfortable as possible, so they are able to perform at their best.

I am also a dog lover, having grown up with a beautiful labradoodle, Scruffy, who showed me the importance of physiotherapy practices. Recently, I got my own border collie, Leo, who has allowed me to be immersed in the training and agility word. This has made me appreciate the need for helping dogs as canine athletes to stay at peak performance as well as for rehabilitation from injuries or diseases.
